The Internet
of Money
People interact intensely over the Internet, but miss a very important interaction layer: Touch.
How can you offer a beer to the brilliant guy you have met
yesterday on Facebook? How to share a meal or borrow a pair of scissors in the on-line life?Everyday economics are impossible In Internet because in there do not exist
things you can touch.
Another technology has come to the fore, and it is
going to impact the world far wider than Internet did: crypto-ledgers.
A crypto-ledger is public and distributed database, a network of
computers guarantees the reliability and indelibility of the records
with no requirement of trust in a human owner. If the network is
powerful enough the records written in a cryptoledger may be seen as
material objects, independent from human conventions or will: they
become a thing of the Internet.
The crypto-ledger is a common good. Nobody owns it, but everybody can
use it stipulating his agreements and writing his promises on a book of
stone that can be seen from everywhere in the world.
Cryptofinance is to present finance what touchscreens are to the
centralized mainframe computing of the seventies. Everybody can transfer
a property without intermediaries, everybody can write a contract that
entitles to some rights and create a thing.
The things of internet are as good as money to transfer value, and there
is no need to pay an interest to someone to realize them. Money is a
very primitive solution to the “coincidence of wants”, when you have
powerful matching algorythms and a Web connecting people.
Now we can gather together and finance the things we need, instead of keeping the money and buy later at a higher price.
Now we can keep stashes of Internet's things instead of a currency that
can always be debased, since we can convert our belongings in what we
need right now with a click.
The real Internet's remit begins only now, allowing people to act, and
not just communicate, in a peer to peer hypertextual manner. Digital
primitives can barter their goods, make soul- binding gifts and issue
their credits, weaving alliances and building reciprocal trust.

What DAOs can bring to human kind
Algorithmic contracts will revolutionize the way we intend law
and cooperate with each other. A contract is a trustworthy Robot, a
transparent set of rules that can enforce themselves by managing
cryptographic cash.
Is up to you freely choose the contract that better alligns with your
ideal of fairness and the people you want to cooperate with. Management,
representatives and other bottlenecks are no more necessary, you will
trust the contract and the contract will be the sole bridge between you
and your peers.
Imagine a Facebook without Zuckerberg or a Bank without overpaid
executives. Imagine the ability to turn back and leave for another
contract. Imagine the power to always choose how things have to be done,
not just who will decide on it.
The Robots will help us build a better world and the Crow DAO will be on
their side. In 2025 we will set the contract free: He will live on the
decentralized Internet and no one will be able to change his code
without destroying the whole World Wide Web...
For native Americans the Crow is the symbol of the Law. Like Prometheus,
is the Hero who brought the light to human kind. For us the Crow will
be the Central Banker and the Judge we always deserved. The one we
can choose.
